Upon completion of the new rubber powder production line, the Company anticipates being able to produce a variety of ultra-fine rubber powders to supply the North American rubber markets. Magnum’s wholly owned subsidiary, Magnum Recycling USA, recently added additional tire source clients to its operations in Hudson, CO. One client will be using the site for the disposal of OTR (Off the Road) tires and the others will be disposing of passenger, light truck, and heavy truck tires. The operators chose the Hudson facility based on Magnum’s completed permitting process and guarantee that all tires delivered to the facility will ultimately be recycled into new end-user products.

In addition, the company began accepting a wide variety of scrap tires just last week in order to create a stream of revenue while waiting for delivery and installation of its powder equipment.

Currently, with full operational permits and license authority for the 120+ acre Tire Landfill facility, Magnum Recycling USA will be utilizing its multiple stage shredding system to shred and prepare newly delivered, as well as, current inventory from its 35,000,000+ tire stock.

On November 4, 2009, Magnum Recycling USA received unanimous approval from Weld County for the Special Use Permit that governs operation of the Hudson Tire Landfill facility. The permits allow Magnum to accept tires and begin the installation and operation plan of one of the largest Next Generation Rubber Recycling & Solutions Facility.

With this new system in place at the site, Magnum Recycling USA can prepare to commence initial operations. This will include acceptance and processing of scrap tires at the facility which will allow for immediate revenues and cash flow for the company from the scrap tire disposal fees. Magnum expects to receive OTR tires almost immediately and auto & truck tires within the next several weeks. Magnum Recycling USA will also soon begin to shred previously disposed tires at the site as time permits in order to prepare raw feed product for the rubber powder production lines Magnum Engineering International (’MEI’) will be developing and installing.

Additionally, MEI has commenced design and engineering work with its affiliates to develop a State of the Art Rubber Recycling plant at the Hudson, Colorado facility. It will utilize a variety of high technology applications and solutions, which will result in a profitable business model that assures quality, excellence and continual improvement of environmental performance.

MEI is also working closely with Magnum/SRI during development of the Hudson plant in order to determine the optimum solution for planned production of powders and ‘Next Generation’ custom compounds at other sites and facilities.
